Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium cured meats.
What is the difference between biltong and beef jerky?
While both are dried meats, biltong is cured with vinegar and air-dried as whole steaks before being sliced, resulting in a tender texture and savory profile. Jerky is typically smoked, lean-cut, and marinated in sugary sauces.
How should I store my biltong after opening?
To maintain peak freshness, we recommend consuming your biltong within 3 days of opening. Store it in a cool, dry place. If you need to keep it longer, keep it in a paper bag or an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Is your biltong gluten-free and keto-friendly?
Yes! Our traditional biltong is naturally gluten-free and contains zero sugar, making it an ideal snack for keto, paleo, and high-protein diets.
How long does shipping take?
We process orders within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Absolutely. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your biltong, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we will make it right with a replacement or a refund.
What ingredients do you use for curing?
We keep it simple and traditional. We use premium grass-fed beef, vinegar, salt, black pepper, and coriander. No artificial preservatives or nitrates are added.
